Many people visited libraries as children or teens, but eventually stopped making regular visits to the library as they grew older. While they have fond memories of their time in libraries, they might not have an accurate idea of what libraries offer in the modern age. Someone who has not been to a library in the last decade probably has no idea that 3D printers have become commonplace! By “updating nostalgia,” we can show that even if you’re no longer interested in the same things you used to be, the Library can still be a valuable part of your life.
A library isn’t the quiet, solemn space many people still think of it as being. We are a rowdy bunch, and bring energy and excitement to all we do. A primary goal of the Marketing team is to update that nostalgia for our community. We are already offering free opportunities that people would pay handsomely for, our job is to highlight those incredible experiences.
