A Marketing Plan is similar to a contract and includes the type of promotion that the Marketing Team has agreed to do for a specific program, series, or event.
Marketing Plans begin with the responsible staff and Marketing Project Manager, Erinn Summers. Together, they review the program/series/event background, desired look and feel, intended target audience, and define what success looks like for this particular promotion. Next, the Marketing Team will brainstorm appropriate promotional strategies, develop a timeline of deliverables (promotional materials such as posters, social media posts, etc.), and outline any other pertinent information. The Project Manager will then produce a draft of the Marketing Plan for the responsible staff to approve. Once approved, the Marketing Team will begin working on the promotion and follow the deliverables schedule on Podio.
