How do I get my event in the Newsletter?

Always ask! We will do our best to include it. Usually, when we are planning out our Newsletters, the Marketing Team is looking for programs that are upcoming in the next two weeks (although preferably one week away). The Marketing Team tries to have a variety of events (children’s, teens, adults, and from multiple locations) represented in the newsletter. We also periodically try to include databases and other services that we offer at The City Library. Unlike social media promotion, we often will include programs with limited space because the Newsletter helps cardholders see the variety of programs that we offer in the system. Additionally, we link them to the web events, where they can find registrations for limited space events. 

Please note that we do not include non-Library events or services in the Newsletter.
